On screw-down metal roofs, vent pipes and chimneys often come up right through the high ribs — leaving nowhere solid to anchor a VentSaver directly behind the pipe. The SD VentSaver Screw-Down Mounting Plate Kit (Model 12-24) fixes that: a 12" × 27" aluminum plate that bridges the ribs and gives you a full, adjustable mounting surface exactly where you need it.
What the SD plate does
The plate spans the panel ribs and fastens through with twelve 3" roofing screws with neoprene washers, sealed underneath with the included NovaFlex all-weather sealant. It lifts the VentSaver above the ribs, adds mounting points, and lets you slide the diverter side-to-side so it sits perfectly behind the pipe — no rib in the way, no compromise on position. A built-in ice ramp protects the base of the pipe and can be field-notched with basic tools to fit between your ribs.

Panel compatibility
Recommended for most PBR / R-panel and 2.67" corrugated exposed-fastener metal panels. Fasten into structural support or wood blocking below the panel for full holding strength. Not sure about your panel? Send a photo with your order and we'll confirm fit before shipping.

Installation at a glance
- Position the plate just uphill of the pipe or chimney and fasten into purlins, blocking or structure below.
- Seal underneath with the included NovaFlex before final tightening.
- Notch the ice ramp to fit between your panel ribs — hack saw, chop saw or grinder.
- Never use this plate as a step or tie-off point for fall protection.
