    • Measure from the ground — eave or gutter length along the gutter line, never climb for a quote.
    • Rafter run (peak to eave) unknown? Building length ÷ 2 is usually close for a gable roof.
    • A phone photo of the panel, gutter end or work area beats every measurement — send it after submitting.

    Is the layout really free? What's the catch?

    Yes — free and no obligation. We'd rather spec your roof correctly than have you guess, under-buy, and watch the system fail in the first heavy winter. Most layouts come back within one business day.

    What makes the quote "warrantied"?

    The system we specify carries the manufacturer's warranty when installed per the layout — genuine SnoBlox-Snojax product from an authorized Canadian distributor, not grey-market imports.

    Do you need photos of my roof?

    They help a lot — especially a close-up of the seam or panel profile (or gutter end, for GutterBrush) and one wide shot of the roof face. Submit the form first; our reply includes an address to send photos directly.

    I don't know my measurements — can I still ask?

    Yes. Fill in what you know, type "not sure" where you don't, and use the measuring tips beside the form — a photo and your town get us most of the way.

    Snow guards or a SnoBar rail — which should I pick on the form?

    Pick your best guess — pads for most residential roofs, rails for heavy snowbelt loads, long runs and commercial buildings. If your roof actually needs the other system, we'll say so in the layout. The what-works guide explains the difference.

    Can I quote GutterBrush or fall protection on this same form?

    Yes — pick the quote type at the top and the form switches to just the questions that matter for it: gutter style and total length for GutterBrush, application and work surface for fall protection. Fall protection is specified with our sister store Fall Protection Canada using CSA-compliant systems. Need snow retention and fall protection on the same building?
