Canada Snow Guards · Genuine SnoBlox-Snojax
Colour-matched snow retention for exposed-fastener metal roofs: a 6061-T6 aluminum ColorBar rail on drop-in ColorBracket™ mounts, anchored through the panel flat into structural wood or steel purlins — not just into the panel skin. Gasketed, sealed fastening at every penetration holds the snowfield for a controlled melt instead of a roof avalanche, and the aluminum rail reads as part of the roof rather than a bolt-on.

Mix and match: every snow bar and rail in your cart counts toward the same quantity break.
Every ColorBar rail is 6061-T6 aluminum — the structural temper, not soft extrusion stock. On a screw-down roof that matters twice over: aluminum will not bleed rust down a coated panel from a cut end or a fastener contact point, and putting aluminum against an aluminum or coated-steel panel avoids the galvanic mismatch you invite when bare steel sits on a finished roof. It also stays dimensionally stable through Canadian freeze–thaw cycling and is light enough to carry up a ladder in full lengths.
Exposed-fastener roofs have no seam to clamp, so this system is fastened — and fastening only works if the screw reaches something structural. Each ColorBracket™ drops in and is anchored through the flat of the panel into the purlin or deck below, with a gasketed, sealed fastener at every hole. A snow guard fixed only to the panel skin will tear the panel before it stops a slide; this one transfers the load into the frame.
Two things decide your variant. First, your panel width: a 9″ flat takes a bracket every 18″, a 12″ flat takes one every 12″. Second, what you are screwing into — wood purlins or metal purlins — which changes the fastener that ships with the kit. Pick the combination above. If you do not know your panel width, measure flat-to-flat between two ribs and send us a photo; we will confirm it before you order.
