Canada Snow Guards · Genuine SnoBlox-Snojax · Kit
The strongest polycarbonate guard in the lineup, boxed for a glue-down install: 20 clear IceJax II, two tubes of Surebond SB-190 snow guard adhesive and bonus cleaning wipes. In independent ATI testing, an adhesive-mounted IceJax II held 708 kg (1,561 lb).
Metal roofs shed consolidated snow in sudden releases — and everything below the eave pays for it: eavestroughs, vehicles, decks, gas meters. Holding the snowpack on the roof for a controlled melt is cheaper than any one of those repairs.
Ice is heavier and harder than snow, and it slides meaner. Where daily melts refreeze into consolidated ice, low-profile guards get overridden — the IceJax II's taller face stays engaged as the pack hardens. The classic layout puts IceJax II in the eave rows where ice forms, with standard guards above. Plan a warm-weather install: SB-190 gains most of its strength in about 14 days and reaches full cure after about 28 days at 10 °C (50 °F) or warmer.
