The IceJax I, fastened mechanically: 25 clear polycarbonate guards, 50 #14 metal-roof screws with neoprene washers in the length your structure needs, a tube of NovaFlex metal roof sealant and cleaning wipes. Screwed into structure, each IceJax I is rated by the manufacturer to 1,905 kg (4,200 lb) — and it holds from day one, in any season.

Why your metal roof needs snow retention

Exposed-fastener metal roofs shed consolidated snow in sudden releases — and everything below the eave pays for it: eavestroughs, vehicles, decks, gas meters. Holding the snowpack on the roof for a controlled melt is cheaper than any one of those repairs.

Screws when adhesive can't

Adhesive needs weeks of warm weather to cure; screws don't. Fastened through the panel into the purlin and sealed with NovaFlex, the IceJax I carries load the day it goes on — the right choice for fall installs and exposed-fastener roofs.

• 2" Wood Purlin — for panels over wood strapping or purlins

• Lay out staggered rows starting 300–450 mm (12–18 in) up from the eave — the free layout sets the exact grid.
• Clean the spot, bed the base in NovaFlex and drive the screws into the purlin, snugging the washers — don't overdrive.
