Canadian Roof Anchor Questions, Answered

Do seam anchors damage standing seam panels?

No — the SSRA1 clamps the seam with set screws that grip without piercing, the same non-penetrating principle as our SnoBar® clamps. The panel and its warranty stay intact. The SSRA2 walkboard and SSRA3 anchor plate mount on those same anchors, so the whole family stays penetration-free.

SSRA1, SSRA2 or SSRA3 — which do I need?

SSRA1 is the anchor itself — the fixed point you tie off to. SSRA2 turns a pair of SSRA1s into a walkboard platform for working the slope. SSRA3 is a universal plate on a pair of SSRA1s for mounting equipment. Both the SSRA2 and SSRA3 are sold with or without the anchors included.

When is the RIDGEPRO the right choice?
